Union Gaming UG Banned From Canada Cup The Summit 3

GosuGamers had a talk with Thai-caster Treephob ‘Xyclopz’ Tiangtrong. Read on to see to know how his career as a caster got started, and how he plans to proceed.

   

Xyclopz was an "accidental" caster, if there ever was any. He was able to attract a lot of viewers with not-the-best, but always-improving mechanics knowledge and a distinct accent, and it is safe to assume that he will continue to get better.

Why "Xyclopz"? Is it a reference to the Cyclops character from X-Men?

Oh a lot of people has also asked me the same question. Well I used to be a football player for my university and one day, I got hit on my right eye which I had to wear an eye-patch for a month. People started calling me Cyclops and still called me that even after the eye patch came off. So it sounds pretty good, why not.

How were the responses to your first time casting?

There were only about 50 people watching my stream at that time. My co-caster, Snaqky and I made a lot of mistakes and it wasn't a very good cast but the viewers were very forgiving and kept on supporting us. They are so nice although my English sucks so bad. My analysis was not good, my knowledge of the game was not good but they still cheer me on. I wouldn't have come this far without them. They are my teachers.

Do you prepare your material beforehand or does it come naturally?

Both naturally and prepared. I always make jokes with my friends when we visit LAN cafes. Some of the jokes are from the viewers too. The main problem is I can't exactly remember all the skills and items in the game because I am lacking in knowledge. So I decided to call it in my own way. As a caster, we have to be very updated with the scene news and adapt it to the cast. I'm still working hard on that for my casting in the future. Hopefully I can provide a bigger insight and improve my English for the viewers.

Who is your role model when it comes to casting?

All the casters out there are my role model. They all have a very unique way of casting which I can learn a lot from. I tune in to Twitch every night to watch the games, the casting and trolling the chat room. I learn something more from every game that I watched.

RRQ Team Dota 2 Indonesia

RRQ Rex Regum Qeon adalah salah satu team Dota 2 Indonesia yang mempunyai prestasi yang bagus dalam beberapa tournament dota 2, misalnya joindota, dan lain lain. Selain itu RRQ di tahun 2014 ini juga masuk dalam kualifikasi tournament international 2014 dota 2. Saya sendiri berharap RRQ juga bisa ikut berpartisipasi dalam TI14. 

Memang kalau kita lihat dalam dunia gamers, Dota 2 sudah menjadi game favorit di Indonesia. Namun faktanya belum banyak team - team yang serius dan mempunyai management yang bagus. Bandingkan dengan negara lain, mereka mungkin mempunyai management yang baik sehingga perusahaan atau pihak sponsor pun tidak segan untuk melirik dan mensponsori team tersebut. Misalnya Malaysia dia punya Neolution Orange, Thailand punya Made in Thailand E-Sports Team, Philipina ada Mineski, Apalagi China. 

Sebenarnya kita punya potensi pemain yang bagus. Selain RRQ Rex Regum Qeon  juga ada Bambang FC dan masih banyak lagi. Kalau kita lihat di negara kita sendiri, belum banyak event atau tournament dota2 sehingga persaingan team pun berkurang. Selain itu mungkin belum banyak perusahaan yang berani menjadi sponsor bagi team team Indonesia. Semoga saja tahun depan sudah banyak bermunculan Team team dota 2 Indonesia dan mampu mengukir prestasi yang bagus di tournament internasional. Ya semoga RRQ bisa meningkatkan prestasi mereka di tournament dota2.

Dota 2 Indonesia - Kapan Dirilis ?

Dota 2 beta resmi telah diluncurkan oleh ice frog. Kapan Dota 2 hadir di Indonesia. Game yang satu ini akan dirilis tahun 2012 nanti. Saat ini  sambil menunggu dota 2 close beta, kamu bisa lihat sekilas tentang Game ini yang dikembangkan oleh Valve.

Banyak orang luar negeri yang sudah main dota 2 ini. Mereka daftar melalui steam. Tapi di Indonesia belum bisa main game ini. Dimanakah download dota 2 gratis ?, Untuk saat ini saya belum menemukan situs atau link penyedia download dota 2 free. Paling - paling kalau ada cuma artikel atau kadang hoaks. Pernah aku dapat link downloadnya, tapi ternyata versi lama. Yah....bagi para penggemar dota di Indonesia, sabar aja..nunggu pengumuman resmi dari valve sebagai pengembang. Baru nanti bisa main dota 2 sepuasnya.

Dibanding dota versi lama, hero di dota 2 lebih keren. Banyak perubahan yang dilakukan, begitu juga dengan item - item nya. Di posting yang lain, mungkin akan saya kasih tau hero beserta gambarnya. DOTA 2, memang sudah ditunggu oleh penggemar dari Indonesia.  Sebenarnya Valve telah berniat untuk memperpanjang versi beta hingga tahun 2012, tapi permintaan berulang kali dari para penggemar telah membuat mereka berubah pikiran . Moga aja dota 2 perusahaan ini cepet menyelesaikan proyek game ini.
